E-Ring shopping with my boyfriend?
My boyfriend takes me to a jewelry store tomorrow, because I bought a necklace for Christmas and I have the chain of size. He said that when we are there, we should look at engagement rings and have my finger on the size of one. He said he just wants to get some ideas on what I like. He said there is going to keep the royal ring and the date and details of the proposal a secret. I'm clueless about the engagement rings. I'm thinking of going first in line and see what I like. Can someone guide me to a website or give me good information about rings, diamond shapes and configurations? I know it's not supposed to ask or require a certain size ring. So how do I look at rings, without thinking I'm being demanding a certain size. I like rings … haha … but, I do not want to pressure him something he can not afford.

I worked 4 years at a fine jewelry store, and when I went to stores I caught the mall selling the higher quality diamonds as it really was. They also try to sell special cuts such as "Leo Diamond" and these are actually lower than the round brilliant (mathematically designed to have the best refraction of light), so do not buy one of those strange brand cuts shop.
