Can I sell my jewelry to the amount that is in my assessment document?
I have 2 rings with 2 assessment papers. Can I go to a jeweler and you sell the rings for the amount in the document?
Sad to say, but a review is not really designed for the purpose resale … Especially at a jeweler. The breakdown of what an assessment is a written opinion of what a retail value of replacement of a jewelry article is based on current market trends. There is a cost breakdown of what would be required to do so. A jeweler should be able to buy something and resell for a profit. (Usually Keystone or double the amount). What are good for the evaluation are:-Detailings of the piece, as Karatag, stones, etc.-useful for insurance purposes if a part is OT damaged stolen I hope this helps …
